 DIRTY  MILLS SCOOTER CLUB

The Dirty Mills Scooter Club was formed in 1984 at the Freestone public house and also at the Black Swan in Normanton, West Yorkshire. Our club has run continuously now for 23 years, We are all very proud of this achievement. And we would like to take a moment, to thank all our past and present Club Members for their efforts in keeping this club going so strong, and looking forward to our 25 Special Anniversary Bash. Over the years the Dirty Mills Scooter Club has had many homes including the Rising Sun Inn, and also the Fox at South Hindley and at one time we used the Cudworth Hotel in the Barnsley area.

At a time when the club was at its peak with lads from both Grimethorpe and Darfield joining us. The club at the moment is still enjoying a current influx of new Members  We were fortunate last year that our clubs badge designer Ian West re joined us for a while prior to his Retirement, our best wishes go to Ian and his family, He told everyone that our badge had changed slightly over the years and on the first design the scooter had been originally designed showing a rear view of a scooter with bye bye on the Number Plate, and obviously this has Changed at some time to a scooter image that now faces forwards

Our  Home this year  is the  Windmill Inn on the A638 Wakefield to Doncaster Road, near to the dam at Nostell Priory We meet every Thursday night about

8 pm All through the year .

All are welcome .

Dirty Mills Scooter Club does not have any Membership fees, and are a children friendly club, although some venues that we do attend  Do Not Cater for children. We do try where possible to avoid those places but it is not always possible as We don’t make other peoples rules, but Remember that kids are the scooter riders of tomorrow, so lets Keep the faith.

We are not an elitist club so feel, free to turn up on whatever Scooter you wish to.
