Happy smiles pre kick off ! All secretly wondering if will we make it again this year? but the sun was shining lucky for us it stayed that way across to Lancashire and on to Southport we arived & sited our tents only then to be told we were near a bees nest ? So we moved our tents but only about 12 ft = sorry Gaz I know you got stung ! We decided that we would stay at the bar on the camp site that evening instead of opting for the bus to town and retired early for the next days ride. All pointless really as some people prefer to party !till 3 in the morning and please may we state it was not the DIRTY MILLS CREW! next morning Roy’s Bacon Butties were great!

Southport sea front by the conference center waiting for the off! across to Bridlington. This year we set off directly behind the lead motorbike, out of town. All the Dirty Mills Riders and Tarn Lads together set off along the sea front I think the tide was on its annual holiday Well i couldn’t see it. Half way we arrived at the designated stop and had a good meal to see us through the day. It was very windy in places but the rain held off and we finally arrived at Bridlington Conquering hero’s again Yes!

Tents up all ready at the B B B Rugby Ground who were great hosts !All of us ready now for the big night out that started with an unexpected Origami paper folding competition good efforts Roy, Rob but i think Lyndon`s Paper Rose won 1st prize haha (get me later ). Then off to the newly refurbished Bridlington Spa that is Fantastic now inside ! A good job done, pity the sound system wasn’t up to the excellent venue. Next morning we were all awoken about 4 am with a torrential down pour that never hardly eased by the time we started taking down tents it was bouncing 1 ft off the floor nothing else for it British Bulldog spirit ........we look like getting wet. The rain never stopped until we reached the cafe ...But we all arrived home safe! & sound with no Breakdowns,
Roll on Wakey Wakey then on to Holland
