DIRTY  MILLS SCOOTER CLUB

The Dirty Mills Scooter Club was formed in 1984 at the Freestone public house and also at the Black Swan in Normanton, West Yorkshire. Our club has run continuously now for 23 years, We are all very proud of this achievement.

 And we would like to take a moment, to thank all our past and present Club Members for their efforts in keeping this club going so strong, and looking forward to our 25 Special Anniversary Bash. Over the years the Dirty Mills

S.C. has had many homes including the Rising Sun Inn, and also the Fox at South Hindley and  at one time we used the Cudworth Hotel in the Barnsley area.

At a time when the club was at its peak with lads from both Grimethorpe and Darfield joining us. The club at the moment is still enjoying a current influx of new Members so hopefully with the increase of scooter riders throughout the country we can do another 23 years.

 We were fortunate last year that our clubs badge designer Ian West re joined

us for a while prior to his retirement, our best wishes go to Ian and his family, he told everyone that our badge had changed slightly over the years and on the first design the scooter had been originally designed showing a rear view of a scooter with bye bye on the Number Plate, and obviously this has Changed at some time to a scooter image that now faces forwards Our new Home this year is the Windmill Inn on the A638 Wakefield to Doncaster Road, near to the dam at Nostell Priory .We meet every Thursday night about 8 pm All through the year .and All are welcome .
